Some Orwell's bibliographies would list those books as 'Novels', 'Fiction and nonfiction books' etc. but 'The Complete Works of George Orwell' edited by Peter Davison, published by Secker and Warburg in 1998, called it simple 'Orwell's nine books' or 'Big nine'.
